Map Editor for Starcraft 2 comes

Blizzard announced the launch of Starcraft 2 Galaxy Editor for Starcraft 2 Beta.

What would Starcraft and Warcraft have been without world and map editors? Blizzard did such a good job in making the community workout really magnificant maps and scenarios just by providing them a good tool.

Broodwar without fun maps, fast maps and turret defense, warcraft without doa or any other mods and customs maps. The battlenet would be really empty and nobody would be waiting for Starcraft 2. So applause to the map editor!

And here we go: Blizzard wants to add the map editor (in starcraft slang „galaxy editor“) this week! A huge patch and the mac client are announced too.
